Director S S Rajamouli's experimental flick Eega is currently progressing its shoot. The shooting part of the schedule will move on for 120 days. Eega will witness extra-ordinary visual effects as per the film-makers.

Mumbai, Actor Shahid Kapoor, who held a clean shaved chocolate boy image until director Vishal Bharadwaj’s “Kaminey”, is yet again donning a new look, wearing a beard for his father Pankaj Kapoor’s next film “Mausam” where he plays a role of an air force pilot.
“My father told me to grow a beard so I am doing it. I am going to shoot ‘Mausam’ in three weeks from now. So we are still trying different things so I won’t really comment to say that this is my look for ‘Mausam’. This is one of the looks that has been considered. But it’s for sure there will two to three different looks in ‘Mausam’,” Shahid said.

Dookudu Audio Release Awaiting

Dookudu audio release would be covered live on MAA TV on August 7 at Shilpa Kala Vedika. The approximate cost for this audio launch would be around 10 lakhs – bare minimum. Apparently, the producers are unable to find a sponsor to support their financial requirements for this Dookudu audio launch, and as a result, the movie's audio release is yet to be finalized.

 

Naga Chaitanya starrer 'Dhada' on August 11 and Ram's 'Kandireega' on August 12. Both the young heroes are challenging each other with their movie releases at the Tollywood box office. While Naga Chaitanya is planning for a hat trick (after Ye Maaya Chesave and 100% Love success), Ram is trying to consolidate after a series of flops (Ganesh and Rama Rama Krishna Krishna).


Putting aside their on-screen competition, trade pundits say that Dhada and Kandireega should have avoided box office clash. The reason being both the movies will lose out on their theaters, particularly in Nizam. But the biggest reason is that the distribution heavyweights are at loggerheads. Suresh Babu, who is releasing Kandireega is having a cold war with RR Movie Makers, who is releasing Dhada. This means,  Kandireega has to lose some theaters in Nizam and vice-versa. So we need to wait and see how things turn out in this case, nonetheless, the number of theaters are directly proportional to movie's talk.

Dookudu movie latest news: Mahesh Babu's Dookudu movie Uttharandhra rights have been  sold to Gayatridevi Films for a whopping 2.85Crores.


 
This is a record prince and is tipped to be one of the biggest movies of the year. With this, Dookudu business is completed in all areas and  going by the stats (including the satellite rights), the makers of Dookudu have made pretty good amount.
Dookudu Guntur has gone for 2.74 crores, Nizam rights for 9 crores, Ceded 5.7 crores, Nellore 1.3 crores, Karnataka for 2.1 crores and now Uttharandhra for 2.85 crores and 5.5 crores satellite rights. Mind you, there's also overseas rights. So are Dookudu producers safe? The movie's currently undergoing shooting in State Art Gallery at Madhapur.
